Light Pressure
The ChemPlas Light Pressure “RELIEVER” is extremely sensitive to pressure build up. In a catastrophic fall or tip over, the “RELIEVER” is completely fail safe. Injection molded from virgin Polypropylene, the “RELIEVER” has superior chemical resistant properties.
- Operate at pressures between .5 and 1 PSIG
- Vacuum releases at .5 PSI (for gravity flow only)
- Has a 2” straight NPT
- Lock nuts are available upon request
* Assembly and test are done in a clean atmosphere. Testing of both models is performed on a calibrated and certified pressure gauges with each unit in place simulating “in service” conditions.
Dash-1 “Reliever”
The ChemPlas DASH-1 “RELIEVER” will at once sense a tank pressure buildup or internal vacuum and “relieve” it. In a catastrophic fall or tip over, the DASH-1 “RELIEVER” is completely fail safe. Injection molded from virgin ultra-violet stabilized Polypropylene, the “RELIEVER” has superior chemical resistant properties.
- Indefinite working life, replaced if found defective within two (2) years
- Available in two (2) versions.
- Model #-050 is set to operate at pressures between 3.5 and 5.5 PSIG.
- Model #-100 is set to operate between 10 and 12.5 PSIG.
- Vacuum releases at .5 PSI (for gravity flow only).
- 2” Straight NPT
- Lock nuts are available upon request

Double Vacuum
The Double Vacuum “RELIEVER” is made to answer the need of IBC users and others who require a breaker for gravity drain or pump out up to 50 GPM without the necessity of removing the fill cover. Injection molded from virgin Polypropylene, the “RELIEVER” has superior chemical resistant properties. It has a very low profile, is fail safe in a tip over.
- Guaranteed for two years from date of installation
- Vacuum releases at .5 PSI.
- 2” straight NPT
- Lock nuts are available upon request
